Our kindergarteners wrapped up their CKLA Knowledge unit on Native Americans in the best way—by learning from a student expert! 💛 Fifth grader Cora visited to share about her tribes, the Washoe and Blackfoot. She showed students her beautiful regalia, special artifacts, and shared meaningful stories that brought learning to life. Our kinders were captivated, curious, and full of great questions. What a powerful example of student leadership, cultural pride, and learning together across grade levels!

First graders are hard at work partner reading informational texts! 📚🐾 We’re learning so much about reptiles, things that swim, mandrills, and big cats—and our curiosity is just getting started. We can’t wait to dive into learning about even more amazing animals!

Our second graders had wonderful visitors today from Payson High School FFA who shared two great read aloud a with our classrooms! Thank you so much for sharing the excitement of agriculture!

We truly couldn’t be luckier—not only to have Samantha, but to have the amazing team of teachers we do here at Park View. ✨📚 New year, new reading goals! 📚✨ Our first graders are working hard in small groups—stretching their skills, building confidence, and becoming even better readers every day. We love watching their growth and determination shine! 💛🐝

🌟 Student of the Month Rock Stars! 🌟 We are so proud of these incredible students who truly shone bright last month month! 💛 They were recognized for the kindness quality of Empathize—showing care, understanding, and compassion for others—and the learner quality of Ponder—thinking deeply, asking great questions, and reflecting on their learning. 🧠✨ Way to lead with both heart and mind! We are lucky to learn and grow with you. Keep shining! ⭐👏

✨ Hands-on history in 1st grade! ✨ We’re starting the year strong by mixing learning with creativity—our first graders used Play-Doh to create artifacts inspired by the Maya, Inca, and Aztec civilizations. 🏺👐 So much curiosity, teamwork, and joy as students explored the past through play. Learning is more meaningful (and more fun!) when little hands are busy creating big ideas. 💛

🎅✨ Santa Came to Park View! ✨🎅 Santa made a special stop at Park View Elementary today, and the halls were filled with smiles, laughter, and a whole lot of holiday magic! 🎄🎁 Our students were thrilled—what a joyful way to celebrate the season. ❤️🐝

We will truly miss our students, but we hope everyone enjoys a wonderful time with family and loved ones over the break. Wishing you a joyful holiday season and a very Happy New Year! We look forward to seeing everyone back at school on Monday, January 5. 💛🎄✨

Looks like our elves are elf-hausted 😄 These little friends are wrapping up their last days visiting and look ready for a vacation—just like our amazing teachers! 💛 Thank you for bringing so much joy, laughter, and magic to our halls. Time to rest, recharge, and get ready for what’s next! ✨🎄

Mrs Toelupe’s class has been taking a trip around the world to learn how different countries celebrate the holidays.  Today’s stop was in Germany to learn about gingerbread houses.

✨🔦🎶 Our 3rd graders just wrapped up their Light & Sound science unit the brightest way possible—with a glow party! From shining light to making sound waves, learning has never looked so electric! 💡💥

Our halls were extra merry today—all the Christmas favorite characters came to Park View! 🎄✨

Mrs. Whetten’s Holiday Breakfast Party was pure magic! ✨🎄 Eggnog churro waffles, fruit, and sausage had everyone smiling 😋 The gift exchange game was a huge hit—so much laughter and joy! 🎁

The elves are sneaky, they’re at it again— They brought us lava… let the fun begin! 🌋🧝‍♂️

Bright ideas everywhere! 💡 4th graders finished their Eureka Student Inventor unit—complete with candy-filled lightbulbs and final invention posters. We loved seeing our students’ creativity shine!
