Congratulations to Our Classified Employee of the Year – Ben Egbert! 🎉 We are excited to celebrate our Head Custodian, Ben Egbert, for being recognized as Classified Employee of the Year! Ben does so much for Park View every single day. He takes incredible care of our school building and is always willing to help students, staff, and families whenever needed. His hard work, positive attitude, and dedication help make Park View a safe, clean, and welcoming place for everyone inside. We are so grateful for all that Ben does for our school community. PVP Parent of the Month – Alisha Rodriguez! 🎉 We are excited to recognize Alisha Rodriguez as our Park View Parent Volunteer (PVP) Parent of the Month! Alisha supports Park View in both big ways and small, always willing to lend a helping hand wherever it’s needed. Her kindness, time, and dedication make a difference for our students and staff. First graders kicked off our Shapes Unit today! 🔺🔵⬜ We had a blast playing a Headbands game where each student had a shape on their forehead. Their classmates could only describe the attributes (like number of sides or corners), and they had to figure out which shape they were! 🤔✨ There was lots of movement, teamwork, and learning happening all at once. Such a fun way to start exploring shapes! 🎉📐

We work hard and play hard at Park View! Today our students had the chance to learn some awesome break dancing moves. It was so fun to watch them try new things, cheer each other on, and show off their creativity. Way to go, Bees! 🐝🕺💛

Our 2nd graders have been busy exploring the amazing digestive system! 🧠🍎 Students learned about the journey food takes through the body—from the mouth to the stomach and intestines—and discovered how our bodies turn food into energy to help us learn, play, and grow. Through hands-on activities and great discussions, they explored how each part of the digestive system has an important job. It’s always fun to see curiosity and excitement come alive during science time. Way to go, 2nd grade scientists! 🔬✨

Did you know, first grade is when many children move from “learning letters and sounds” to actually reading simple books independently?  It is a major growth year!  Our first graders are amazing!  If you know one, sit down and just listen to them read! They’ve come so far this year and just continue to get better!

The fun just didn’t stop on the field trip—on the bus ride they kept the learning going as they listened, felt, and even made their own vibrations. What a fun way to turn a field trip into a hands-on science lesson! 🔊✨
