Students loved seeing what the rocks looked like before and after they were tumbled. January Students of the Month 🌟 We are proud to recognize our January Students of the Month for demonstrating persistence and compassion. These students show strong learner qualities by working hard, not giving up when learning feels challenging, and consistently choosing kindness toward others. We are so proud of each of you! 💛🐝

First grade authors shared their informational writing with friends today! 📚 They researched different animals, wrote all about them, and proudly read their books aloud. Cookies and juice made it extra sweet—and they were so disappointed when sharing time was over! If you have a first grader, be sure to ask them to read their book to you at home. 🐾✨

Fourth graders brought their CKLA geology learning to life today by opening geodes! 🪨✨ As part of our CKLA Knowledge unit, students explored how rocks form and discovered the crystals hidden inside—hands-on learning that deepened their understanding of Earth’s processes.

Happy 100th Day of School! We had a blast making 100s day hats, planting 100 day seeds and growing a doughnut, counting math manipulatives to find out if we had more or less than 100, stacking 100 cups, and playing with the parachute and 100 balloons!

On Hundred's Day we also had a few grannies and gramps in 1st grade!
