1st grade had Red Butte Garden to teach us how to be Botanists, (a plant scientist). We learned about how seeds travel and did some experiences with different seeds to see if they traveled by wind or animal fur or something else.

Mrs. Vaquerano’s class earned a hot chocolate party for good behavior in specialty classes!




Mrs. Vaquerano’s class has enjoyed learning about our solar system. They learned about the sun, moon, stars and constellations, astronauts and more. They really enjoyed making these Big Dipper art projects at the end of their unit.

Good Ol’ Geode Smashing for these 4th Graders! Did you know that geodes are hollow rocks that form when air pockets in volcanic or sedimentary rocks fill with minerals?




We are loving learning about astronomy in Mrs. Barney's class!



Mrs Vaquerano’s class used their 5 senses to describe grapes today! They brainstormed all the ways it looks like, sounds like, feels like, smells like, and their favorite was tastes like! Tomorrow we will use those describing words to make sentences about grapes!









Fourth grade just finished their Geology unit so they celebrated by breaking apart geodes!











Mrs. Mormann’s class got sorted into their Hogwarts houses today! Let the Harry Potter fun begin!!
