SHHS will be on a modified schedule for 4th and 5th period, today, January 8th.

5th: 1:35 pm-2:25 pm
Thank you! SHHS administration

Dear Parents, Students, and Staff,
Earlier today, the fire alarm was triggered at SHHS just as lunch began. While the exact cause of the alarm is still unclear, the fire department and police have thoroughly investigated the building and confirmed it is safe for everyone to return.
To accommodate the disruption to lunch, we will extend the lunch period until 12:40. The bell for 4th period will ring at 12:00, with classes starting at 12:45. A modified schedule will be followed for 4th and 5th periods.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work through this situation. Thank you!
SHHS Administration

Makayla has been dominant this year. Last week she went to the championship at Dixie HS and lost to the returning 4A State Champ. The following day at the Enterprise tournament, she faced the same girl in the championship and destroyed her. Makayla was voted outstanding wrestler at the Enterprise tournament.
Kevin has been killing it in debate! He's rocking speech and debate events. Kevin is a bundle of energy and happiness. He makes everyone better.
Kenya has thrived as a performer in the Salem Hills Band over the last 3 years. Her confidence and perseverance have been the foundations of her success, and we are so fortunate to have her in our program. She is very deserving of this honor, and it is our distinct pleasure to recognize her!
Ava is always smiling, always helping others, and always seeking to understand by participating, asking questions, and trying out the math for herself. She is inquisitive and bright and friendly to everyone. Ava makes the math classroom a better place!

Courtney Russell-Drill: Courtney is the silent leader of the team. She is quiet but leads by her examples of strong work ethic, focus, and goes the extra mile in putting in extra time outside of practice.
Ashton Cook- Swim: Ashton has been working hard on all of his strokes with swimming and it has been paying off. He is a great teammate and works hard to achieve his goals.
Ashelyn Larsen: Fan of the Week
Sloane Palfreyman-Ballroom Dance: Sloane is a first year member to ballroom this year and she has shown so much progress in such a short time. She catches on to choreography quickly which allows her to utilize time to appropriately work on technique. She is always positive and brings a calmness to our team when under pressure! She works hard and it shows!
Kassenya Thomas-Math: Kassenya always works really hard in class. She comes to class with a positive attitude, and she is willing to work with anyone that she is asked to work with.
